Sarah

"Your circumstances and your past do not define you. Make the best of today as tomorrow is not guaranteed."

After graduating college at her highest weight ever, Sarah began taking Zumba® classes and fell in love with the dance fitness format. Zumba® became a catalyst to other forms of fitness and Sarah added strength training and running to her routine. She spends her downtime with her dogs at the park, watching Schitt’s Creek and never turns down a bowl of macaroni and cheese!

"We must all suffer from one of two pains. The pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons."

There is an inner strength and peace from movement that helped Shauna change her life. It allowed her to be more present in her relationships, in her work and within herself. Fitness has given Shauna the discipline and confidence to conquer so many challenges in her life and she takes pride in sharing that gift with others!  There are a few things she doesn’t share however…Swedish Fish and cuddles from her pup, Maggie!

She has learned from experience how empowering it feels to push past limiting thoughts and how strong one can become as a result. Her rides include driving bass beats and fun lyrics to lift your mood and help you forget that you’re crushing a workout. Mackenzie

“You are stronger than you tell yourself.”

For Mackenzie, fitness is more than working out to achieve a specific aesthetic.  She considers fitness a therapy of sorts.  Yoga, specifically, has always been a way for her to clear her head, become stronger (mentally and physically) and give her the confidence to handle the struggles life can sometimes bring.  She began teaching to provide a space for others to come as they are and take whatever they need each time they hit the mat.  When she’s not in the studio, she loves taking advantage of Rochester’s very brief warm weather for outdoor workouts, as well as HIIT classes to push her limits and bring out her competitive side!

"Never say never because limits, like fears, are often just illusions."

As a high school and college athlete, fitness has always been a huge part of Emma’s life. After graduating, she has used exercise as more of a stress reliever and a positive way to channel her energy. Her routine includes strength training, HIIT and some well-placed yoga to balance everything out. You can expect strong coaching from Emma’s cycling classes with a musical mix of strong bass beats and uplifting lyrics!  Want to get on her good side? Bring her chocolate peanut butter desserts!

"All you can expect from yourself is all that you have, so give it all you've got."

Clint has been involved in athletics his entire life and can’t imagine being without the fundamentals fitness provides! He has a firm belief that fitness creates positive growth from hard work and not only influences our health, but the health of the people around you, as well as the health of your community. Clint lets his body guide his routine, mixing it up with kayaking, long runs and even horseback riding. Along with being grateful for the ability to move his body in so many different ways, he’s also pretty grateful for cookies.

She’s played professional soccer in the US and abroad, is a Taekwondo black belt and has a Kinesiology degree from the University of Maryland. Karen (KO)

"Train hard, eat well, live intentionally"

KO fell in love with fitness through trying different workouts and because of how personal fitness is for each individual person. She believes that you are responsible for your own success, for creating and challenging your own limits and for holding yourself accountable. It is your distinct responsibility to find the type of training styles that make you happy and leave you feeling your best. For KO, that includes trail running with her pups and ADK hikes fueled with maple syrup drenched breakfast foods.

Stephanie Green

"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life." -Mohammad Ali

The City of Rochester has such an amazing history, and, through the efforts of many, is being reborn with spirit, strength and attitude.  My vision was to create an urban, contemporary fitness studio for our unique community, something that Downtown has never seen before. From the best instructors in town, the lighting and sound systems, the lockers, showers and amenities, the unique art on the walls and the food in the grab and go fridge...the Vault experience is really special.

We focus on our member community as well as supporting our local business community to contribute to the growth of Rochester.
