STUDIO ETIQUETTE

early = on time

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class to allow yourself enough time to park, check-in, get yourself set up and chat with friends. If you haven’t checked in within 5 minutes of the start of your class we may give your spot to someone else. No entries once class has begun.

OFF THE GRID

Please no cell phones in any classes. Please dim watches. This is a great time to charge your device inside our lockers that are equipped with USB ports! If you need to be reachable during class, please give the studio number (585) 730-7824.

HOLD THAT THOUGHT

Please no talking during class. It can be very distracting. We’d love for you to come earlier and stay later and talk all you want before and after class!!

Love makes the world go round

Have fun!  Reach out to any of our staff if you need help or have any questions.

FAQ

Where is Vault and where can I park?

Vault is conveniently located at 10 Franklin St, right across from the Liberty Pole at the intersection of East and Main in downtown Rochester - an easy walk for people who live or work downtown. Tons of parking options including street parking (free on weekends and before 8 am and after 5pm on weekdays), garage parking (we validate parking up to 2 hours at St. Joe’s or Midtown garage) and many outside lots within a block. An indoor bike rack is also available!!

Do I need my own boxing gloves and wraps?

Boxing gloves and wraps are required. We have gloves available for rent ($2) and wraps available for purchase ($9). Wraps are important to help protect your hands and wrists. They are easy to slip on and are machine washable. If you end up falling in love with boxing (which we hope you will!), you can purchase your own gloves right here at Vault.

Do I need cycling shoes?

Cycling shoes make a huge difference. Bring your own or rent ours ($2) Not only will your feet be more secured to the pedals (which is safer), it will also help you engage your different muscle groups and get a better workout! Our bikes are compatible with SPD or LOOK Delta cleats.

Are towels provided?

Yes! We have complimentary towels to use during your workout and after your shower, as well as chilled eucalyptus towels for after class.

What do I need to bring with me? What should I wear?

Please bring a water bottle (a killer attitude is welcome, too!). We have a filtered water fountain for your convenience.  Food and drinks are available for purchase. Wear whatever clothes you feel comfortable working out in. Most people wear leggings/shorts and a t-shirt/tank top. If you’re taking a boxing class, you will want to wear comfortable training sneakers.

How do I sign up for classes?

It’s so easy!! Go to our website or download our app. There you can sign up for your exact spot in a class, reserve a bike or bag, rent your shoes or gloves ahead of time, and purchase class packages and memberships.

Are there lockers and showers?

Yes! We have lockers outfitted with keyless lockers and USB charging stations to keep your valuables safe. We offer luxurious locker rooms with showers and a blow dry bar with products for you to get cleaned up afterwards!

What is the cancellation policy?

For class packages or single class purchases, you will lose one class credit if you are a no show or if you cancel less than 10 hours before the start of class. For unlimited memberships, there is a $10 fee for no-shows or late cancellations.

How does the waitlist work?

When you sign up for a class that’s full, you’ll be notified where you stand on the waitlist. If someone cancels 4 hours or more before class and you’re next on the waitlist, you’ll be automatically added to the class and notified through the app and email. Please keep an eye out for notifications if you know you’re high on the waitlist for a class.

How early should I show up for class?

You can check in for class up to 30 minutes early. Please show up no later than 5 minutes before class starts.

What if I have to leave early/arrive late?
